Agrimonia pilosa, also known as hairy agrimony, is a flowering plant found in various regions including the Korean Peninsula, Japan, China, Siberia, and Eastern Europe. It is a perennial herb with a tall, erect stem and can grow in a variety of soils. The plant has green leaves with pointy teeth and is covered in fine hairs. It contains various chemical components such as agrimonolide, coumarin, and tannins. In traditional medicine, it is used for treating conditions such as boils, eczema, and abdominal pain. It is also used in Nepal and China for sore throat, headaches, and heat stroke.
