Fresh and frozen raspberry fruit is sold as a food product for direct consumption and for processing into jams, jellies, syrups, purées, and beverages. Flavor carriers include raspberry aroma and aroma concentrate, as well as natural flavoring preparations derived from raspberry fruit for confectionery, dairy, and baked goods.

Industrial and craft applications:
Anthocyanins are extracted or concentrated from raspberry fruit for use as natural colorants in beverages, confectionery, and similar applications. Pigment solutions exhibit characteristic pH-dependent hue shifts and are heat- and light-sensitive, influencing processing choices and packaging. Raspberry seed oil is used in topical cosmetics and soapmaking as an ingredient; it is cold-pressed and refined for edible use where permitted. Seeds provide a meal/flour co-product used as a low-value feed and fertilizer ingredient.
