Lantana camara leaves are traditionally brewed as a mild tea or decoction to relieve coughs and colds among the Kamba people of Kenya, Moyo et al., 2019. In rural India, Kumar et al., 2018 report that a decoction of fresh leaves is taken orally to reduce fever and to treat mild gastrointestinal upset, while the bark is macerated in water to make a poultice for skin infections and wounds. In Brazil, Santos et al., 2020 describe how the leaves are ground into a paste and applied as a poultice to inflamed joints and as a decoction to treat urinary tract infections.
