Kopsia arborea is a tree belonging to the Apocynaceae family. It can reach heights of up to 14 metres and has a trunk diameter of up to 10 centimetres. The bark is grey and the flowers are white in color. The tree produces blue-black fruits that can grow up to 4.2 centimetres in length. In China, it is used in traditional medicine as an enema and to treat tonsilitis. This tree is native to China, Thailand, Vietnam, Malesia, and Australia and can be found in various habitats ranging from sea level to 1,500 metres in altitude.
