Wood and fiber:
Heartwood and sapwood are used for heavy construction, flooring, interior joinery, furniture, cabinetry, and decorative veneer. The wood is suitable where strength, hardness, and dimensional stability are required. It yields good surface finish and accepts adhesives and finishes well; it can be used for structural and non-structural applications in indoor and protected outdoor contexts.
