Varronia curassavica, also known as black sage or wild sage, is a flowering plant in the borage family. It is native to tropical America but has been introduced to Southeast Asia and the tropical Pacific region, where it is considered an invasive weed. The plant is distinguishable by its strong sage scent and lanceolate to ovate leaves. Its small white flowers grow in clusters and produce fleshy red fruits containing a single seed. The plant's specific epithet, curassavica, is derived from the island of Curaçao, where it was first collected.
