Melilotus sulcatus, also known as the furrowed melilot or Mediterranean sweetclover, is a type of plant in the pea family, Fabaceae or Papilionaceae. It can be found in Southern Europe and is an annual plant that typically grows between 10 and 40 cm tall. The stem leaves of this plant have grooves and it produces small flowers that bloom from June to August. The pods of Melilotus sulcatus are 3-3.5mm long and have distinct bowline veins.
