It is a popular ornamental tree in parks and gardens, grown for its attractive foliage and its tolerance of air pollution.

Juniperus formosana, also known as the Formosan juniper, is a species of conifer in the Cupressaceae family. It is a shrub or tree that can grow up to 15 metres (49 feet) tall and is found in China and Taiwan. It is a popular ornamental tree in parks and gardens due to its attractive foliage and its ability to tolerate air pollution.
