Strychnos ledermannii (Gilg & Gilg-Ben.) is a climbing shrub of the Congo and Cameroon forests. Over the last century, neither recognized ethnobotanical monographs nor peer‑reviewed accounts from the Congo, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, or surrounding regions describe infusions, decoctions, tinctures, macerations, or poultices made from this species. Although several African Strychnos species are used medicinally, each is taxonomically distinct and the literature explicitly ties those uses to those other taxa, not to S. ledermannii. Because no reliable source attributes specific medicinal preparations to this plant, no ethnobotanical record is available to present.
