Gnaphalium uliginosum, also known as the marsh cudweed, is a widespread annual plant found in Europe, Asia, and North America. It thrives in damp, disturbed areas such as grasslands, paths, and acidic soils. Growing up to 20 cm tall, it is characterized by its woolly leaves and small flower heads arranged in clusters. The flower head bracts are also woolly with dark tips and the florets are brownish yellow. This plant blooms from July to September.
