Solanum trilobatum is a herb that is commonly consumed by frying it in oil or ghee and grinding it. However, it is important to remove the thorns from the plant before cooking as they are mildly toxic. The herb can also be dried and stored in powdered form. It is native to India, Sri Lanka, and Indochina.
