Saxifraga hirculus, also known as marsh saxifrage, is a perennial herb with yellow flowers and a red stem. It can grow up to 30cm tall and is commonly found in bog landscapes. This species of saxifrage serves as a food source for the generalist fungus Mycosphaerella tassiana and the pathogenic fungus Melampsora hirculi.
