Philotheca citrina is a unique species of flowering plant that belongs to the Rutaceae family and is found only in Western Australia. It is a shrub with narrow, curved leaves and pale yellowish green flowers that grow singly on the ends of its branches. This plant can reach a height of 1.3 meters and blooms from May to September. It was first described in 1992 by Paul Wilson and is found in the Murchison region, specifically in granitic breakaway areas near the Muchison River. Due to its limited distribution, it is classified as a "Priority One" species by the Government of Western Australia Department of Parks and Wildlife.
