Orthopterygium is a genus of plants that belongs to the Anacardiaceae family and contains only one species, Orthopterygium huaucui. This species is found exclusively in western Peru and is dioecious, meaning it has separate male and female plants. It is a member of the subfamily Anacardioideae, which also includes cashews and sumacs.
