Prunus incana, also known as the willow leaf cherry, is a type of sour cherry that is found in the Caucasus region of central Asia. It is a small plant that typically grows on limestone cliffs at elevations between 360-2400 meters. In addition to its natural habitat, it is also used as a rootstock for peach trees. This means that it is used as a base for grafting other peach varieties onto, allowing for better growth and production.
