Crataegus putnamiana is a unique type of hawthorn found in North America that is the result of a cross between two different species within the Crataegus genus. This rare plant is a hybrid of a species in the Coccineae series and a species in the Dilatatae series. Its distinct characteristics make it a valuable and interesting addition to the hawthorn family.
