Daphne holosericea is a type of shrub that belongs to the Thymelaeaceae family. It is primarily found in China, specifically in the regions of Sichuan, Southeast Xizang, and West Yunnan. This evergreen shrub can reach a height of 0.3 to 1.0 meters and has slender grayish green branches. Its leaves are clustered along the branches and it is commonly found in dry valleys at an elevation of 3000 to 3600 meters.
