Hibiscus coulteri, also known as the desert rosemallow, is a flowering plant in the Malvaceae family. It is found in the eastern Sonoran Desert and the Chihuahuan Desert in the southwestern US and northern Mexico, typically growing on steep slopes and canyon walls. This short-lived perennial shrub can reach up to 6 feet in height and is often recommended for xeriscaping, making it a popular choice for dry and arid climates.
