Magnolia rzedowskiana is a flowering plant found in the Sierra Madre Oriental region of eastern Mexico. It can grow up to 20 meters tall and produces large, showy flowers in April and May. The species is only found in three locations and has a small estimated extent of occurrence. It thrives in montane cloud forests and is also cultivated in certain areas. Named after botanist Jerzy Rzedowski, it was previously classified as Magnolia dealbata. Due to its small population and limited range, it is considered an endangered species and is threatened by deforestation and flower harvesting.
