Gagea serotina, also known as Lloydia serotina, is a flowering plant found in Arctic-alpine regions of western North America, Europe, and parts of Asia. It is commonly known as the Snowdon lily or common alplily and is recognized by its long, grass-like leaves and white flowers with purple or reddish veins. In Great Britain, it is considered an ice age relict and is only found in a few isolated locations. Due to its vulnerability to climate change, efforts are being made to introduce it to other areas. Gagea serotina is protected under UK law and was previously classified under the genus Lloydia.
