Senna multiglandulosa, also known as glandular senna, downy senna, or buttercup bush, is a flowering plant in the legume family. It is native to Mexico, Guatemala, and western parts of South America, but is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant. However, it has also become naturalized in some areas and is considered a weed in places like New Zealand and New South Wales. This shrub can grow up to six meters tall and has oval-shaped, hairy leaves with visible resin glands. Its flowers are yellow and have seven fertile stamens and three sterile staminodes. The fruit is a legume pod filled with beanlike seeds. Images of this plant can be found on Wikimedia Commons.

Suggest a correction or add new data!
Sow seeds at 20°C, expecting germination within 3 months without further temperature treatment.
Requires Scarification: Scarification involves physically breaking, scratching, or softening the seed coat to allow water absorption and germination to occur. This can be done by nicking the seed coat with a knife or rubbing the seeds between sheets of sandpaper.
