Millettia peguensis, also known as Moulmein rosewood, is a legume tree found in Lower Burma and Siam. It is a rare species compared to the more common pongam tree, which has similar features but is found in India. The Moulmein rosewood has bright pink flowers and oval-shaped leaves, while pongam has white flowers and elongated leaves. It is not known for any medicinal or other uses, but its timber is believed to be hard and heavy, similar to other rosewood varieties. The tree is easy to grow in Delhi, but not well-known in other tropical countries. It serves as a food source for the Jamides bochus caterpillar.
