Euclea divinorum, also known as diamond leaf or toothbrush tree, is a flowering plant found in eastern and southern Africa. This shrub or small tree has multiple uses in African cultures, such as providing dye for wool, tanning leather, and making ink. It is also used as a preservative for milk, allowing it to last for up to a year. Additionally, chewing on a twig from this plant can serve as a natural toothbrush.
