Solidago rugosa, also known as the wrinkleleaf goldenrod or rough-stemmed goldenrod, is a flowering plant native to North America. It can be found in wet to mesic habitats and is characterized by its rough leaves and multiple stems that produce yellow flower heads. This plant is host to various insect-induced galls and has five recognized varieties. It is not considered a conservation concern, but one variety is listed as a special concern in Connecticut. Solidago rugosa is also grown as an ornamental plant and has medicinal uses in Native American culture.
