Gnaphalium polycaulon, also known as the many stem cudweed, is a plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. It is found in various regions including Mesoamerica, South America, the West Indies, and parts of Asia and Africa. This small annual herb has multiple branches and is covered in a thick layer of woolly hairs, giving it a whitish appearance. Its leaves are long and narrow, and its flower heads are tightly packed with numerous florets, usually yellow but sometimes with purple tips.
