Pterostylis planulata, also known as the flat rustyhood, is a perennial orchid endemic to Victoria, Australia. It has a rosette of leaves at its base and up to seven translucent flowers with green stripes. The flowers have a unique, insect-like labellum and bloom from October to November. This plant was first described in 1983 and is found in the northern part of the Grampians National Park, growing in shallow soil on rock ledges. Its name, planulata, comes from the Latin word for "flat" or "level", referring to the shape of its lateral sepals.
