Pterostylis fischii, also known as Fisch's greenhood, is a type of orchid found in south-eastern Australia. It has distinct features between its flowering and non-flowering stages, with the flowering plants having a single flower and leaves on a spike. The flowers are tawny-colored and have a unique structure, with a long thread-like tip on the dorsal sepal and a hidden labellum. This plant has egg-shaped leaves and grows from an underground tuber. It is mainly found in woodland and forest areas in New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland. It was first described in 1950 and is named after the Fisch family who discovered it in 1949. Flowering occurs from February to May.
