Pterostylis ferruginea, also known as the Bangham rustyhood, is a perennial plant in the orchid family that is native to the border region between South Australia and Victoria. It has a rosette of leaves and can produce up to ten dark green and translucent white flowers with an insect-like labellum. The plant has a tuber underground and typically flowers from September to November. It was first described in 2009 and given the name Oligochaetochilus ferrugineus, but was later changed to Pterostylis ferruginea in 2010. This orchid is found in heathy forests and woodlands in the Wimmera area of western Victoria and the far south-east of South Australia.
