Pterostylis elegantissima, also known as the elegant rufous greenhood, is a species of orchid found only in the south-west region of Western Australia. It has a distinctive appearance, with a rosette of leaves on the ground and up to eight green, white, and black or brown flowers on a tall stem. This species was first described in 2014 and has since been classified as Pterostylis elegantissima due to differing taxonomic views. It is found in woodland and on granite outcrops, but is only present in a few isolated populations. Due to its limited distribution, it is considered a priority species for conservation by the Western Australian government.
