Pterostylis dilatata, also known as the robust snail orchid, is a species of orchid found only in the south-west region of Western Australia. It is a perennial herb with an underground tuber and can be identified by its green and white flower on a tall stem with stem leaves. The flowers bloom in winter and have lateral sepals that almost close off the front of the flower. This orchid was first described in 1984 and its name refers to the bloated base of the flower. It can be found in shrubland, woodland, and on granite outcrops in various biogeographic regions of Western Australia. Currently, it is not considered a threatened species by the Government of Western Australia.
