Pterostylis aneba is a recently discovered and little-known species of orchid found only in south-eastern Australia. It is similar to other greenhood orchids, such as Pterostylis alpina and P. monticola. The plant has a rosette of fleshy leaves at the base and a single green and white flower on a tall stem. It is found in alpine and sub-alpine habitats and blooms from December to February. Pterostylis aneba was first described in 2006 and is mainly found in moist grassy areas in southern New South Wales and north-eastern Victoria.
