Dendrobium toressae, also known as the sparkle orchid or mica orchid, is a species of orchid found in tropical North Queensland. It is an epiphytic or lithophytic herb with highly branched stems that form dense patches. The leaves are fleshy, dark green, and have a glittery surface. The plant produces a single cream-colored to pale pink flower with a yellow labellum in the leaf axil. This orchid is endemic to the region and can be found growing on trees and rocks, often in exposed areas. It was first described in 1889 by Frederick Manson Bailey and was later renamed by Alick Dockrill in 1964. The specific epithet, toressae, is in honor of Miss Toressa Meston. Flowering occurs sporadically throughout the year.
