Dendrobium johannis, also known as the chocolate tea tree orchid, is a type of orchid found in Australia and New Guinea. It has long, spindle-shaped pseudobulbs and dark green leaves with purplish markings. The flowering stems can hold up to fifteen chocolate brown flowers with a yellow labellum. This orchid was first described in 1865 and is named after the plant collector John Gould Veitch. It is classified as "vulnerable" due to illegal collection. The orchid is found in open forests, swamps, and monsoonal thickets at altitudes between 50 and 600 meters.
