Iris vorobievii is a plant species in the genus Iris that is native to central Asia, specifically Russia near the Chinese border. It is a rhizomatous perennial with long, thin green leaves and pale yellow or bright yellow flowers. It is commonly cultivated as an ornamental plant in temperate regions. The plant is named after Soviet dendrologist Dmitry Petrovich Vorobyov and has a chromosome count of 2n=14. It is found in open grassy slopes and meadows on river terraces, and is listed as endangered in the Red Data Book of Primorye due to habitat destruction. It is difficult to cultivate and does not produce many seeds, making it short-lived. No hybrids or cultivars are known.
