Iris korolkowii is a plant species in the genus Iris, commonly known as the Redvein Iris. It is a rhizomatous perennial found in the mountains of Tien Shan, Pamir and Altai, in Afghanistan and Turkestan. It has long, sword-shaped grey-green leaves, a slender stem, and 2 to 3 white, cream, pale green or light purple flowers with maroon, chocolate brown or dark purple veins. It is cultivated as an ornamental plant in temperate regions. This species has been counted as 2n=22, 33, or 44, and has been crossed with Iris stolonifera to produce richly colored hybrids. It is best grown in well-drained soil and full sun, and can be propagated by division or seed growing. There are several known cultivars, including 'Smidgen', registered in 1933.
