Allium parvum, also known as small onion, is a species of wild onion native to the western United States. It is commonly found in rocky, dry areas in mountainous regions at elevations of 1,200-2,800 meters. It is widespread in California, Nevada, Oregon, and Idaho, and has also been reported in western Utah and southwestern Montana. This plant has a small bulb and short stem, with sickle-shaped leaves. Its flowers are pale pink with dark midveins and have purple or yellow anthers. The Paiute people used this plant as a food source and for flavoring.
