Allium pallasii is a species of wild onion native to Central Asia, Mongolia, Altay Krai, and Xinjiang. It is found in desert and dry steppe environments, typically at elevations of 600-2300 meters. It has a round bulb that can reach up to 20 mm in diameter and a scape that can reach up to 30 cm tall. Its leaves are tubular and shorter than the scape, up to 2.5 mm wide. Its flowers are pale red or pale purple.
