Allium kurssanovii is a type of wild onion found in Central Asia, specifically in Xinjiang, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. It typically grows in high elevations on cliff faces and other areas with direct sunlight. This plant has long and narrow bulbs that can reach up to 15 cm in length, with scapes that can grow up to 90 cm tall. Its leaves are flat and slightly longer than the scape, but only 3-4 mm wide. The plant produces a large spherical umbel with many flowers, and its tepals are pink to purplish-red with a dark purple midvein.
