Allium flavovirens is a type of onion that is found only in the western region of Inner Mongolia. It typically grows in dry areas at elevations between 1800 and 3100 meters. This plant has 2 or 3 bulbs that can reach a diameter of 20 mm. Its scapes, or stems, can grow up to 25 cm long and are round in shape. The flowers of Allium flavovirens are either white or pale yellow, but may appear reddish-purple when viewed from the underside.
