Allium flavidum is a type of onion found in Asia, specifically in Xinjiang, Altay Krai, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan. It typically grows in rocky terrain and has small bulbs measuring up to 1 cm in diameter. The plant also has long, round scapes that can reach up to 45 cm in length, and narrow leaves that are shorter than the scape. Its large, spherical umbel produces numerous white or pale yellow flowers.
