Allium falcifolium, also known as scytheleaf onion or coast flatstem onion, is a wild onion species native to northern California and southern Oregon. It thrives in heavy, rocky soils, particularly serpentine soils. The plant has a reddish-brown bulb and a flattened stem with two curved, scythe-like leaves. The stem is short and bears an inflorescence of 10 to 30 flowers, each with pinkish, red-purple, or white-streaked purple tepals. The name Allium falcifolium var. demissum Jeps. was given to this species in 1921, but it is now known as Allium siskiyouense Ownbey ex Traub.
