Allium cratericola, also known as Cascade onion, is a type of wild onion found only in California. It is not commonly seen and can be found in various mountain ranges across the state, from the northern and southern California Coast Ranges to the Sierra Nevada foothills. This plant has a short stem and oval-shaped bulb covered in brown coating. It also has long, pointed leaves and clusters of up to 20 bell-shaped flowers that can be white, pink, or purplish in color. The anthers and pollen of this plant are yellow.
