Allium clathratum is a type of onion found in temperate regions of Asia, specifically in Xinjiang, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Siberia. It typically grows on dry slopes and cliff faces at elevations between 400 and 2000 meters. This species produces small, narrow bulbs that are usually less than 10 millimeters wide. Its flower clusters, known as umbels, are hemispheric in shape and contain many pink flowers.
