Allium carolinianum is a type of onion that is found in central and southern Asia, specifically in countries such as Afghanistan, India, and Uzbekistan. It typically grows in areas with plenty of sunlight at high elevations. The plant produces small, egg-shaped bulbs and tall, round scapes that can reach up to 60 cm in height. Its leaves are narrow and shorter than the scapes. The flowers of Allium carolinianum are found in round umbels and can be white, red, or purplish in color.
