Allium baytopiorum, also known as Baytop's onion, is a species of onion native to Kars Province in Turkey. It is found in montane steppe at an elevation of 1,200 meters and is named in honor of Turkish botanist Asuman Baytop. Unfortunately, the species is critically endangered due to overgrazing and hay making.
