Allium amphibolum is a type of onion that is found in Altai, Tuva, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and the Province of Xinjiang in western China. It has narrow bulbs that can grow up to 15 mm in diameter and scapes that can reach up to 30 cm in height. The leaves are long and narrow, usually not exceeding 15 cm in length and 5 mm in width. The flowers are rose or lilac in color with dark red midveins, and the ovary is round with a long style.
