Ravenea hypoleuca is a rare species of palm tree found only in Madagascar. It is mainly found in two locations in the southeastern part of the country, near the towns of Vondrozo and Tsitongambarika. With a limited natural range, there are only around 40 mature trees of this species known to exist. This makes Ravenea hypoleuca a unique and valuable plant in its native environment.
