Anemia mexicana, also known as the Mexican flowering fern, is a type of fern found in Mexico and parts of Texas. It belongs to the Anemia genus and is often referred to as a flowering fern due to its upright fertile fronds that resemble flowers. This species is commonly found in the Edwards Plateau and Trans-Pecos regions of Texas. Despite its name, the "flowers" of this fern are not true flowers, but rather specialized fronds.
