Tectaria estremerana is a rare species of fern endemic to Puerto Rico, commonly known as the Puerto Rico halberd fern. It is a federally listed endangered species of the United States, with a population of 23 individuals known to exist in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. The fronds of this fern can reach up to 80 centimetres (31 inches) long, with a hairy, orange brown stipe and a few elongated leaflets. Since its listing on the Endangered Species List, more individuals have been discovered in Río Abajo Commonwealth Forest and in the municipality of Florida.
