Adiantum tenerum, also known as brittle maidenhair fern, is a type of fern that belongs to the Pteridaceae family. It is found in various regions including Florida, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Brazil. This species thrives in moist and shaded areas, particularly on limestone ledges and grottoes. It has light green, fan-shaped leaves that are pinnate and can grow in a creeping position. The leaves are smooth and can either arch or hang down, with a length that is similar to its width.
